Grown on a single-estate plantation on Aore Island, Vanuatu, these premium whole black peppercorns are cultivated using traditional island farming methods and harvested in small batches.

Our pepper vines are cared for by local horticulturalist T-Rex Uri from Malo Island, whose deep knowledge of traditional Melanesian farming helps maintain the natural strength and aroma of the crop. The peppercorns are hand-harvested, sun-dried, and carefully selected to preserve their natural oils and bold flavour.

    Simple Pepper Steak Rub


    Ingredients


    2 tablespoons freshly cracked Aore Island black pepper


    1 teaspoon sea salt


    1 teaspoon garlic powder


    1 teaspoon olive oil

    Method


    Rub the mixture onto steak and let sit for 10 minutes before cooking. Grill or pan fry on high heat until desired doneness. Finish with freshly ground Aore Island pepper for extra aroma.

    Best used on beef, lamb, or grilled vegetables.
