Phoenix Plantation - Aore Island

Life in the village on Aore  is simple, with many families living in traditional houses and often walking long distances for water.

For this reason, a portion of proceeds from Phoenix Plantation goes toward improving living conditions and supporting projects that help increase access to clean water and community infrastructure.

Alongside producing island-grown products, Phoenix Plantation also welcomes visitors who want to experience authentic plantation life and the natural beauty of Aore Island, creating a connection between agriculture, community and sustainable tourism.

Phoenix Plantation began in 2020 as a working plantation on Aore Island, Vanuatu, focused on growing island crops such as vanilla, black pepper and cocoa using traditional farming methods suited to the tropical climate and soil of the islands.

Located beside a village community of more than 300 people, the plantation works closely with local families and growers.

During harvest periods up to 30 local workers are employed, with many team members having worked with the plantation for more than five years.

The plantation supports long-term employment and seasonal work that helps provide income for families in the surrounding village.
