A Few Things to Know
Tropical rain can be short and intense. A wet forecast doesn't necessarily mean a whole day of rain — showers can pass quickly and be followed by sunshine.
Temperatures don't change dramatically through the year. The biggest seasonal difference is generally rainfall and humidity, rather than temperature.
Cyclone season generally falls during the warmer months. Guests should always follow local advice and any instructions provided by their hosts during severe weather.
Island tip: Even during the drier months, tropical weather can change quickly. Sunscreen, a hat and a light rain jacket are useful year-round.
