General Rubbish
Please place all general household rubbish in the bins provided. When a rubbish bag is full, tie it securely before taking it to the collection point.
Securely tying bags is particularly important on the island, as it prevents insects and animals from getting into the rubbish before it can be collected.
Rubbish Collection
Full, securely tied rubbish bags should be placed on top of the water tank at the designated collection point.
Our local team will collect the bags from there for disposal. There's no need to take rubbish anywhere else yourself.
Food Scraps
Please don't leave food scraps uncovered inside or around the house. In the tropics, even a small amount of food can quickly attract ants, crabs and other curious island visitors.
Keep food covered or stored in the food lockers, and dispose of scraps as directed at the property.
Help Us Look After Aore
Aore Island's natural environment is a huge part of what makes staying here so special. Please don't leave rubbish, plastics or other waste on the beach or around the property, and never throw non-organic rubbish into the ocean.
A little care goes a long way towards keeping the island and its waters beautiful.
Our Local Team
You'll probably see members of our local team around the property during your stay. They help with rubbish collection, housekeeping and looking after the grounds.
A friendly hello is always appreciated — they're an important part of keeping everything running smoothly on Aore.
