  • Yes, basic furniture is available in Santo
  •  it is very easy to get made in Santo or on Aore 
  • Designer furniture can come from Port Villa, there is designer stores there
  • Furniture can be shipped from anywhere in the world as Santo has a cargo port.
How is the medical in Vanuatu?
  • Espirtu Santo has a hospital and dentist and a chemist. This is a rural area, like any rural area we have what we need
  • Medivac is to Australia 2.5 hours a way
  • Hospitals are run by the Australian goverment
How is the internet?
  • Interent is fast and cheap
  • There are over 20 providers in Vanuatu we use Digicel
  • Starlink is also a option as well as many services

  • Fruit and vegetables are 90% cheaper
  • Canned and processed food about 30% cheapers
  • Transport 50% cheaper
  • Restaurants 40% cheaper
How do you get power and water?
  • Power is via solar readily available and cheap
  • Water via water tank easy to set up and cheap
How much are cars?
  • Cars are cheaper than Australia and plenty to choose from and easy to get
  • Cars are left hand drive

  • DHL, Mail, air and sea are easily available
How do you get around on the islands?
  • Cars, boats, tractor, quad bike, motor bike, side by side buggy, walk, push bikes

  • You have to create you own work 
  • There is endless opportunities for work, farming tourism ect

Vanuatu's financial system is well served by banks. There are 11 banks licensed to operate in the country. 

Are there any dangerous animals in Vanuatu?

Vanuatu is a true paradise: no deadly species of animals or plants on land. You may encounter spiders and snakes but they are not venomous. Centipedes are not common but bites can be very painful so it is always good to check your bedding at night and your shoes in the morning. You can be annoyed by mosquitos 

Can you get your pension from Australia if you live in Vanuatu 
  • You may get Age Pension for the whole time you’re outside Australia. Even if you’re leaving to live in another country
