How to Pay in AUD or Vanuatu Vatu (VUV)

We accept payment in Australian Dollars (AUD) and Vanuatu Vatu (VUV). Please pay your invoice in the currency requested.

If your invoice is issued in VUV, it must be paid in VUV and cannot be changed to AUD. This avoids exchange-rate differences and additional conversion costs.

Paying in AUD

Payments in AUD can be made directly to our Australian bank account.

simply make a normal bank transfer using the BSB and account number above.

For customers outside Australia,

Paying in Vanuatu Vatu (VUV)

If your invoice is in Vanuatu Vatu, payment should be made directly to our National Bank of Vanuatu account.

Don't see a BSB?

That's normal. Vanuatu banks do not use Australian BSB numbers, and Vanuatu account numbers are formatted differently from Australian bank accounts.

For an international transfer, your bank will normally ask for the bank name, account number, SWIFT/BIC code, bank address and payment currency.

How to Send VUV from Australia or New Zealand

Open your banking app or internet banking and look for something similar to:

Pay & Transfer → International/Overseas Payment

Then:

Select Vanuatu as the destination.
Select VUV – Vanuatu Vatu as the currency.
Enter the NBV account and SWIFT details above.
Enter your surname or booking number as the reference.
Check the details carefully before sending.

Major Australian and New Zealand banks may use slightly different wording, including Commonwealth Bank, ANZ, NAB, Westpac, ASB and other banks.

How Long Does It Take?

International bank transfers commonly take around 1–3 business days, although some payments can take longer due to intermediary banks, weekends or public holidays.
Your bank may also charge an international transfer or currency conversion fee.

Important

Please pay the currency and amount shown on your invoice. If your invoice is in VUV, please send VUV rather than converting the invoice to AUD.

Where to Make an International Payment

If you're paying a VUV invoice from Australia or New Zealand, look for International Transfer, International Payment, Overseas Payment or Send Money Overseas in your banking app or internet banking.

Australian Banks

Commonwealth Bank
Log in to the CommBank app or NetBank and look for International Money Transfer / Transfer overseas.
ANZ Australia
ANZ Plus app: Payments → Pay → International Money Transfer
ANZ Internet Banking: Payments → International Services → Transfer Funds Overseas.
NAB
Look for International Transfer / International Payment in NAB Internet Banking.
Westpac Australia
Look under Pay & Transfer for the international/overseas payment option.

New Zealand Banks

ANZ New Zealand
goMoney: Payments → Overseas Payments
Internet Banking: Pay & Transfer → Send Money Overseas. ANZ NZ specifically lists VUV payments to Vanuatu among its supported Pacific transfers.
Westpac New Zealand
Westpac One: Pay & Transfer → Overseas Payments → Vanuatu → VUV.
BNZ
BNZ app or Internet Banking: select International, add the overseas payee and enter the amount in the required currency. BNZ also says that where the payment needs to remain in the currency sent, “DO NOT CONVERT” can be included with the payment reason.
ASB
Use FastNet Classic → International Money Transfer and enter the overseas beneficiary and bank details.

When Paying in VUV

Select Vanuatu as the destination and VUV – Vanuatu Vatu as the payment currency.
Enter the NBV account and SWIFT/BIC details shown above and use your surname or booking reference as the payment reference.

If your bank doesn't show VUV or you're unsure which option to choose, contact your bank before sending the payment.

It is the customer's responsibility to ensure payment is made in full, in the currency requested and by the due date. A booking is not considered paid until cleared funds have been received.

Please check all account details carefully before transferring funds. We cannot accept responsibility for delays, fees, exchange-rate differences or payments sent using incorrect banking details or currency.

Cash payments are not accepted for bookings requiring advance payment. As an island-based business, advance electronic payment allows us to confirm and reconcile your booking before arrival and arrange staff, boats, transfers and other services required for your booking.

If payment is not received by the required date, your booking or service may not be confirmed and may be subject to cancellation under the applicable booking terms.
